Juice Defender Plus $0.99 - 50% off (Android Battery Saver / Manager)

90

It seems this has been running for a few days, better late then never? I thought this was a reasonable deal. Check out more about the app from the company web page, direct market link or QR code.

Feature comparison table between Free vs Plus vs Ultimate versions here

I've put down the expiry as the end of Jan but the page states "50% off till the New Year". Someone please yell if they notice it change and I'll mark as expired.

  • This actually has been posted a few days ago:

It was marked as expired, but I guess they still can't manage to sell enough copies so the special continues.

    • Yeah, the Plus version seems reasonable BUT if your phone is rooted and running CyanogenMod the Ultimate version can really pull off some fancy tricks! I managed to grab the Ultimate on a nice sale they had. I'll be keeping an eye on them if that sale comes up again! ;)

  • So what is the price?

    • Updated OP. Ta!

  • Does Juice Defender really help? I'm running Android 2.3.3 on SGS1 (GT-i9000) with the stock rom and my battery life is about 1 day tops.

    • Well worth trying the free version first. You should see a reasonable improvement from there. If the Plus features seem interesting to you, it seems a good deal. Claims of 200% more battery are stupid but you'll get a good improvement with a little tinkering of the settings.

      • They're not all that stupid. My improvement is calculated at x1.9 and is pretty accurate.

    • Yeah I'm running this Plus version on my SGS2 with genuine 2000mAH Samsung extended battery. Juice defender definitely does improve my battery life. I believe this is mainly through it turning off mobile data, with regular syncs throughout the day.
As an example, with my general daily use of around 2 calls, 3 texts, 5-10 whatsapp messages, 5 emails, 10 mins of facebook - my end of day battery level was 40-50%. After juice defender plus, it's been around 70%.

I never believe in any of this crap battery saver apps.

    • Your loss.

You're partly right. They don't DO anything magical, just automate tasks that help save power. If you have the time of day to turn off data, turn off sync every 15 mins and turn of airplane mode over night manually, you have done the same thing. It's just an automated time saver, the best one I've found on the market. Maybe you can try the free version, it certainly won't start the Apocalypse. ;)

  • I got it the week back. It works. cause it turns stuff off for you. such as wireless activity when you dont need it e.g. in the middle of the night.

  • Im another happy user. So happy with plus that i went ahead and bought the ultimate version. the only thing i wasn't happy about was that there was no way to upgrade from plus to ultimate. you pay full price for both plus and ultimate.

I went from 1.8x with plus, to 2.5x with ultimate! But i suppose alot depends on how you set the program up. Ended up going ultimate for auto sync and Bluetooth control.

  • A good find dowloaded it Thanks keep up the good work.
