I would first figure out which mobile network has coverage where you want to use the data at and then ask about plans. To check out the three networks cheaply grab some data sims from Woolies and/or Coles when on special (check their weekly catalogs) and make sure you use a 4G modem.
Optus at the moment have the Optus One plan on special for $65 for 500GB that is for a phone. If you need to use the data in a modem then you can add a data SIM for $15 and share the data between the phone and the modem, assuming you have an Optus modem.
Vodafone 500GB 4G for $60.
