Paw Paw Cream Any Bargains?

I am looking paw paw cream at a cheap price. I was told that there was one advertised on Today Tonight, think it is called Tom Mcarthur paw paw cream they have a web site but I wonder if it is cheap anywhere? thanks

  • I'm not certain, but I think I've seen pawpaw ointment in supermarkets … woolies maybe. Not sure of the price because I wasn't really looking for it to take much notice.

I would believe nothing that I saw on TT, it's a tossup between them & ACA as to who is the biggest cash-for-comment whore!

You'd be hard pressed to find a chemist in Oz that doesn't have Lucas' Pawpaw products, they've been around for a very long time for a very good reason, good prices for a good product: http://www.productreview.com.au/p/lucas-papaw-ointment.html

  • I swear by Lucas' PawPaw, nothing else has been as good. Chemist warehouse has good prices.

  • McArthurs can be bought from selected chemists and from their website - but I doubt you'll find it cheaper than RRP anywhere. My parents swear by the stuff - it's a bit different to the Lucas' pawpaw cream (which I use for everything and it's cheap) - it's more of a moisturiser, they have a range of creams as opposed to the greasy paste of Lucas'.

We don't bother even watching it for that reason.

i would prefer to read the daily telegraph over watching TT and ACA (does that say anything?)

BUT in order to stay on track. lucas' paw paw ointment is what i generally use (got one on my desk). costs about $4.50 for a 25g tube but it lasts for ages

      • I go through a 100g tub of it a week at the moment - super bad sunburn :( It's greasy as all hell but seems to work better than aloes/moisturisers.

        • Really? It works for sunburn? That is interesting. I will have to try it next time. Thanks for the tip.

  • thanks, I know the lucas one and use it as well, great for most things just very greasy. was hoping to find the McArthurs for a bargain price as my mum as heard good about it from her friends so was hoping to get it a bit cheaper.

  • 200G Lucas Papaw ointment at Cincotta's Discount Chemist for $20.00(price may be cheaper instore - normally is)..
