Damn, so $130 with referee bonus then. Still great, for a very expensive overrated bottle.
I pulled the trigger on ~$150 (w. cashback). It IS an overpriced whiskey but at this price it's getting close to reasonable value for me ($120/130 would be more on the money).
I've got a large collection of single malts and have owned or tasted hundreds more. Anyone that tells you Johnnie Blue isn't a great, smooth whiskey is a snob and/or has no idea what they're talking about.
Well said. It is a great whisky but definitely a tad overpriced. I really enjoyed the bottle I was given. I'm over the whole "if it ain't single malt it's crap" scenario. They're the same snobs that constantly refer to whisky as dram (which is a unit of measure) because they think it makes them sound educated.
How sad not for old customers :) i am going to change Brand now
