yeah, not that cheap really, they are about this price after discounts on ebay site. Waiting for these to get a lot cheaper like they have been in past for under $100

I got the AV2000 one for $78 delivered as pointed out by another helpful ozbargainer - they are?extra from factory with cosmetic defects and need international adaptor but have worked great for me.

  • Unless you need 2 ethernet port, just get PA-7010P for less. Actual speed is about the same and neither are as fast as WiFi nowadays.

What is the purpose of the 2nd port on the source side? Any Link Aggregation potential or something else?

    • +1

Absolutely nothing - just tested it and it essentially killed the internet on the other end when connecting to 2 ethernet cables to the router + the EOP kit on the source side. (I own a PA9020P)

lol. What a shame, thanks for checking tho!

      • probably killed it since u created a loop scenario.

  • Spend another $25 and get the deco M5 2 pack. They work far better than this stuff.

    • mesh wifi's have their own assortment of problems.

  • I have found EOP doesnt work across power circuits since I installed RCDs, replacing than the old fuses. OK if you are in same circuit though. And works well in old houses in general.
Have been playing with EOP for years and gave up a couple of years ago since the RCDs were put in.
Ran CAT6 through entire house - works well.
