This is a full size SDHC/SDXC card with performance good enough for photos or general storage. I was offered a $10 coupon when I browsed from a desktop web browser if I purchased it using the mobile shopping app (only appears if you've never used the mobile app before). You have to redeem the offer in the web browser then purchase it using the app.

So I ended up getting 512GB of SDXC storage for $75 which is better $/GB than 256GB cards. FWIW, the coupon code is 10APP but the web page will state it and the app will automatically use it once you have redeemed it.

"Compatible with SDHC and SDXC devices". "Backed by Lifetime Limited Warranty".

Bought this to use as a music jukebox for the car's entertainment system (I use lossless FLAC files so the storage requirements are higher than for AAC/MP3).

  • I use a 256GB version of this card in the car for media. Not the fastest copying files over to it, but absolutely fine to use as a media drive for the car entertainment system. I'm thinking I might upgrade to a 512GB for this price.

    • To me that's a lot of music, 256GB worth, I have a 32GB and that's plenty for me. But most people would just use Spotify these days.

      • FLACC files are huge. It's not that much.

        • Yeah, if it's flac that would not fit much.
But its a car, you don't need that HQ as you can hear a lot of background noise like your engine other traffic.

  • Iā€™m not sure I understand your instructions?
I get this message when I enter 10APP as the discount code ā€œ The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase.ā€

  • Bought two of 64GB version of those a couple of years ago from Amazon US had to return them eventually as both of them would stop to respond for half a second or so for no obvious reason either in a camera or a card reader. Never touched any PNY cards from then on. Funny enough, I do have two 6/7 years old 128GB HP branded USB 3.0 thumb drives made by PNY, which are still much better than most of the thumb drives now on the market with similar specs.
