      Its a clearance item… not a promotion…

      If I can remember my password.. I would upload the receipt…

      I basiclally had to get the guy to scan every different box, to work out which were cheap and which were not…

      Receipt uploaded as proof…

        Should ring up automatically… at the registers at the correct price…

        I think its been going on for quite some time..

        There must have been over 50+ PSP left at DJ's at the beginning of the Boxing day sales..
        When I realised what the price was..(ie today) there was a single Hannamotana pack left.. (this was at Chadstone)…..

        And a few odds and ends (2 LBP, 2xWWF, 1xRE2, 3xHM) at Doncaster… (all gone now though)…

        Just the expensive Toy Story 3 consoles and Fifa 10 Southafrica..

        None of them were tagged at $49.95, they were all still tagged at $209.95. The staff knew though as soon as I asked about them though and they all came up automatically at the registers as per Kelvin's comments.

      In David Jones Warringah Mall they still had a table with some PSP games left on it - mostly around the $9.95 mark though some higher. The majority of them appeared to be various versions of FIFA from 2006 onwards (up to 2011, though it was $29.95 still) with a smattering of other titles too.

    Just called up Kotara store.

    The 3 that were there are gone.

    He checked the other stores on his computer' and got these results:

    1 at Hornsby
    1 at Castle Hill
    2 at Garden City

    If you have a DJs card you can get them to send it to you for free.

    Hope this helps someone.

    It is safe to put expired on this deal according to the very chatty guy at Canberra City David Jones.

    Apparently he and his boss spent nearly an hour on the phone to every store in Aus to track down the last one for a guy who paid over the phone, there are 0 systems in the computer for $49.95 now.

      Ok the post above makes me think the guy was lying, but he also added the $49.95 ones were mostly opened demo machines, and the only ones in the system were faulty returns or something… Don't get too excited people.

        The couple I bought certainly looked to be brand spankin' new - all the original seals still on the box and nothing opened inside it. So the good ones might still be out there somewhere!

        lol, I went this morning and he told me that there were only 5 of them Australia wide which sold out on Friday, and that it was only put in the catalogue because they have to in case people want to place an order.

        It was such an obvious lie that I didn't even know what to say, so I just left.

        It's not the first time he's told me blatantly false things too. I was also told that they had Mario Kart 7 sitting under the counter about a week before its release, and he had been told off for selling copies early. I'm 100% sure that this didn't happen

          Can't comment on the other stuff but I work at Dick Smith and we actually received stock of MK 7 before it was released, don't remember how early it was though. Obviously we couldn't sell them until release date.
