    Have to agree.

    I didn't even consider using them when I changed energy providers.

    Destroying the Western Port Bay mangroves, putting in a jetty and importing LGP is totally unjustified.

  Tesla Powerwall bundle: $255 /month with $0 deposit when you apply for humm90 finance. Or pay $15,244 outright.

  That is an expensive investment on a depreciating asset.

  AGL customer here.

  Also looking into their battery, what I can say is 2 other solar quoters said Tesla Powerwall 2 price that I was quoted on by AGL is very cheap and that is BEFORE their $1,000 incentive to join their Virtual Power Plant.

  Independent checking reveals this is true (unless I haven't checked enough).

  I have been looking at battery systems for solar and I have found that there are cost savings for inverters that are integrated into the battery systems.

  Have a look at the Redback and Huawei battery systems as they are also scalable up to 30kwh. EG you could start at a 5kwh battery and just keep adding 5kwh batteries if your needs increase.

  You should calculate how many years it will take before you see a return on investment. It's generally very high with battery, pretty low with solar only.

  Have you asked quotes from other companies other than AGL?
  I'm pretty sure you will find much cheaper one.
