*Just bought my Zelda limited edition 3ds from EBgames. Should wait for this, Zavvi is selling for 164.95 Pounds including the Zelda 3ds game. EB version is a rip off. Not happy :(

I got the Zelda 25th Anniversary Edition 3DS from them last year.
Um, that's 164.5 Pounds not $, that's roughly $247 AUD, and the EBGames price is $232?
I got mine for $235, but it does not come with the game.
I got both versions (Australian and UK) of the Zelda 25th Anniversary 3DS.
UK version comes witht the game and the actual box is so much more polished compared to the AU one.
25th Anniversary logo and other text is shiney and its a proper box.
Whereas the Australian version is a generic black 3ds case with a anniversary slip case.
Why did I get both? Im a Zelda Collector… and I get things on the cheap.
BTW, Zavvi have been selling the Zelda 3DS console for that price since its release. Its not a sale.

As far as I know, AUS and UK are using the same PAL format all the time.

not a big rip , at least you got the console local if there is an issue….from what i hear TheHut and Zavvi are the same place and I know TheHut customer service is non existant…

I've only used Zavvi once. It was to purchase this 3DS console and it arrived in great condition.
It took me a month to receive an item from TheHut. Before I received the items I asked them where my items were, they sent me a letter to fill in a form to say that I didn't receive the items. Took another whole month to receive that 1 letter…. Luckily those items arrived before I received the letter.
The BDs was all I was interested in, but browsing through there everything I wanted was cheaper from Amazon (in some cases significantly cheaper).
In some cases there is no Region locking issue for UK orders and not to mention delivery for most things is only $1.50 compared to Amazons $10
Amazon has free shipping on orders over 25GBP and takes off the VAT (20%) so Amazon's prices are generally much, much better.
But with Amazon I didn't think they'd ship out games?
They don't, which is why my comment starts "The BDs was all I was interested in". BDs means Blu Ray Discs.
This is the same sale they have every monday. Nothing worth looking at. I wouldnt post this again..
they send this email every MOn..can't see its a special bargain
they do this every week.. and will send another email saying they added more items to the sale.

The 3DS is expected to get a huge refresh this year with less emphasis on the 3D. It's true. Expect smaller size and longer battery (as they did it with the DS Lite).
Yes cos an even smaller 3ds is just what we need eh? That is just a rumour at the moment from a Jap gaming magazine. Its true a newer model will come eventually of course but it will most likely be a bit thinner with dual sticks and better battery and screen resolution.

Duke Nukem PS3 - Last week it was around 7 pounds now up to 10 pounds
So I wouldn't actually say ALL items listed are actually on "sale". Hence why OP needs to post specific items which are of good value for the post and price comparisons as to why.
I actually get this email from Zavvi more than once a week to be honest.

Rayman Origins for PS3 at about 20 GBP isn't bad (~$30+delivery) but I don't know if this is the normal price at Zavvi.
zavvi is part of Hut group.
Hut group have given up on customer care.
No email replies etc etc. it don't arrive, its damaged tough.
this is normal Monday sale and majority of prices are higher than pre christmas.
its not a bargain and this post should have been removed as effectively it is spam. If a particular bargain/item had been posted that would have been different.
This site's a shopping site now not a bargain site where big companies tout for business by posting weekly sales, and this is accepted by admins.
games and cds/blu rays are nornmally fine but I bought some ninjago sets and the boxes came smashed to sh** , i didnt bother letting them know they never answer emails anyway.
prices have definately gone up since before christmas
just saw the PES 2012 (ps3) on Zavvi for 24.94 pound delivered(~ 37 AUD), which seems a good deal.
now i hesitate because of the customer care…..

after reading many terrible feedback of Zavvi, I gave up…
where did you read all the terrible feedback of Zavvi from? I have been buying games from Zavvi/The Hut many times in the past and all the games are perfectly packed and arrived within 3 weeks from despatched..I would recommend buying from them because its cheap and if you dont mind waiting 3 weeks for it.
Back in August you didn't know how much postage was - now you seem to be the biggest fan. What goes around….
