Easter Decorating - What Are You Buying, Making, Getting out of Storage?

I try to add a few to my collection each year.

I think this one wins this years cuteness crown: https://www.bigw.com.au/product/carrot-car-bunny/p/116302/

I don’t really have any easter decorations, but that one is adorable

    Its Easter - not Christmas.

  • I left mine out from last year.

    Why are people decorating?

Surely you just hide some eggs on the Sunday if you have kids, go to church if that's your thing, but otherwise just enjoy the couple of public holidays.

Only buy chocolate eggs to eat or as gifts to kids.

We never normally decorate (no kids, not religious) but I bought these this year. Ugly but cute at the same time.

It’s just the latest way to get you to part with cash.

Decorating has become the greatest new capitalist thing and has nothing to do with the religious history. You’ll note this because all of the decorations are around bunnies, eggs and not Jesus and crucifixes.

Went nuts on the yatch last year. Was stuck in a marina so plenty of kids around to enjoy. Handmade bunny feet on the floor. All the cheap craft kits, bunny stickers on the windows, more bunting than I care to admit. Made some of those concertina paper dolls but in carrot and rabbit shapes stuck them up. Easter eggs hidden everywhere(but inside plastic egg shells due to boat and moisture). Hmmm… Big good friday seafood feast.
I feel like there was food involved otherwise but who knows a year on haha.
