  • where is this exactly ?

    • pretty sure that's winston hills mall :)

    still posting banana specials?

I mean it's a good price and all, considering Wollies/Coles are buttripping us at $2/kg - but good prices on bananas can be had by pretty much everybody if they do a bit of looking

Enough with the banana posts. There is no shortage now. Aldi was/is selling then for $1/kg, so I'm sure you will find the odd shop that will beat this price. I mean who is going to drive out there to save 31c. If you live around there, fine, good for you.

you got it wrong its 99c/kg at aldi!! :D

couldn't help myself from saying so.

      • I'll +1 you for the OzBargain spirit. :)

      • Or 3kg for $2.95. Keeping the ozbargain spirit alive.

        • But good luck getting your purchase to be exactly 3kg, since they are sold by weight. :)

        • Doesn't necessarily have to be 3 kg. Just make sure the 2nd decimal place for the cost is a 2 or a 7.

But be careful its not a 3 or an 8 otherwise your getting ripped off!!

I'm sure the other customers behind you in the queue will love you while you trim the skin. To say nothing of the cashier. LOL

        • +1

Peel the skins off first. No one eats the skin and why would you pay for something if you're just going to throw it away?

        • I hope you have Internet access in jail so you can tell us how it went. :)

  • They have been selling this at this price 2 weeks ago.

      What are you? A primate?

      • LMAO!

      • I would have gone with catwalk model but I'm pretty sure they can only eat whatever doesn't cast a shadow.

wonder if could sell them for a profit on ebay :P

  • Monkey time!

  • lol can't believe bananas are still considered as bargain….most places have it around 99cents its back to normal now? Anyway good efforts for 30c off

    • I can't believe people who are not interested in a deal still bother to click on the deal a post unnecessary comments. If it does not interest you don't click it. Simple as that.

      • You know some people like to click on +1 vote just cause of the account portrait. that's quite low too

        • Give OzB'ers some credit. Bananas are $1.99 at my locals mate, half that price would meet bargain criteria for most people in my situation! :s

  • Not a bargain - I saw them at 49c per KG in a street side shop in rural tassie.. should have taken a photo and posted!

    • Oh rural Tassie! No worries mate, I'll just fire up the chopper and head right over.
While I'm at it I might just strap on a million-candela search light and have a look for that last Thylacine!

Next bargain I'm posting: Kiwis 70C per Kilo @ Cooktown, Cape York Peninsula, QLD. BYO Search & Rescue Brigade!

  • Where is it in katoomba exactly??? Ill drive up… need an excuse to go up there again.
Those Leura shops are a rip off but apparently the Black label woolies is the best in all of Sydney..
