    FYI, at 42mm this will wear absolutely huge on a female and because of the case shape it will be large on most guys too.

      42mm is not really that big for a mens and the proportions are nice

        Unless it has Seiko case magic, 42mm is at the reasonable upper end for most guys. I have 44mm to 36mm vintage watches and different designs create a different effect. This watch doesn't have a diver's bezel, the case shape from the crown to the lugs and the over-size dial because there is no diver's bezel will exaggerate the size of the watch IMO.

          i have a citizen eco-drive of exactly the same proportions (Case diameter - 42 millimetres, Lug to Lug- 50mm) and it looks fine….not overly large and sits well on the wrist. maybe you have a small wrist? :)

    I think big watches on women look awesome. I hate those stupid little things that are based on what - traditional concept of petite and feminine?

      This will hang over each side of your wrist if you're female. In watch terms, that's like wearing a shirt to your knees.

    Got this for $129 on special from Starbuy and thought that was a bargain. The cartoon picture doesn't do this justice. Substantial feeling watch, tasteful and functional design, clean high contrast black/white numbers and hands makes reading a pleasure. I have a scrawny man wrist and it looks fine. Smaller than a turtle, the case bottom is curved and hugs the wrist. Leather strap is good quality and supple. Keeps accurate time, movement is made in Japan, rotor speeds around at the slightest movement. I think it's the same movement as the much more expensive Promaster recently posted which I also have. I prefer the NJ0100-11E at any cost due to the perfect design. And 5 yr warranty? No brainer.
