    This was a fun game. It is also the loooongest movie I have ever seen - I think the end credit pieces alone were over 3 hours. This could really do with a tighter edit as much of the exposition was both redundant and unnecessarily prolonged. Overall still worth a play though - just don't get to the end too late at night if you have to work the next day.

    An amazing game had it since xmas when I posted it for $16, only just put it down now as I had gotten 90% of the trophies and max level every prepper, heard of rumor's of an extended edition coming to PS5 !!

    Incredible game. I'd love to know what the budget for it was as every as the production values and attention to detail is absolutely first rate.

      It’s extremely boring for the first 5 hours but once you push through, actually becomes a fantastic game. The world and story opens up significantly and really toys with your emotions.

      Completely agree. Tried to like it, played it for a few hours… then got sick of just stumbling around back and forth in an boring open landscape carrying boxes of crap. I don't have much time to play games, so I'm not going to waste what time I do have on boring garbage like that.

    Ok guys, how do you deal with the BTs. I always shitmyself when they appear and always, always get sucked into the black oil and getting chased by that f'in giant squid.

      Yes, they are painful. Later on in the game you get a way of killing them if you can sneak up on them in the right way, and you also get weapons that can kill them fairly easily as long as you are slow and careful when approaching them, which is not always as easy as it sounds as you don't always know if you're going to encounter one.

      Early on in the game you're helpless so have to basically steer around them. Walk slow and crouched, hold your breath (R1), look around like crazy to see where they are and steer away from them as much as you can. If you get too close you have to stay still and hold breath while the invisible tiger thing walks around and hopefully goes away.

      Saving often so you can go back and try again if you get caught helps a lot too.

      This game takes a lot of patience. Just wait a bit longer, and you’ll actually be chasing these giant squids to farm chiral crystals :)

      You can pee on them when the ground turns into black tar to prevent the Bt from grabbing you into a giant Bt fight. However grenades of any kind will also have the same effect, just toss one on the ground and they will stop trying to grab you

      Holding your breath also prevents them from detecting you in the first place

    Game is amazing. Highly recommended using headphones. Also, just take your time even though the game is already slow. Honestly amazed at how much fun a walking sim turned out to be. Buy at this price for sure.

      I loved it. But it's not for everyone

    I managed to platinum this game. I like the fact that you can be connected to other players through the structures or items they left behind and vice versa. Zip lines are fun! And climbing to random spot to set one up is awesome.

      It's hard to retain value for previous gen games.

      I've been waiting for Sackboy to decrease in price since it's launch, still yet to do so.

      So yes, they do retain value. Not to the extent of Nintendo, but probably in line with the rest of the market.
