Product description

"Australians have had a tough year, whether it be financial, environmental, health-related or simply adapting to change. But one thing that remains consistent is the spirit of our communities: our neighbours, our friends and our families. The Australian Community Relief edition of MONOPOLY highlights some of the amazing Australian communities, both rural and regional, that have come together to help one another during these challenging times. This game has also been developed to help support vulnerable Australians, with $5 from every game donated to the Red Cross."

  • As a expert in monopolies you want one with a decent theme .
This is headed to $5 joining Movember because of that .
OP should have been aware that BigW still has the flood trying to clear at this price .

I ordered this the other week. Then the floods hit and it's been in transit since.

Hoping when the waters ease this week, the roads open up, that they might actually open the Wisemans Ferry post office for pick ups?

  • are there the little red plastic houses and green hotels in this set?

Why not directly donate to flood affected, lets you do a tax deduction as well. Instead this will let Hasbro do a tax deduction.

Because this is the only real estate I can afford to buy lately.

  • Is this version any good or does it have weird chance and community chest cards

We have one of those with versions that have millions in currency and it confuses for kids to go from 100000 to a million

  • +1

I’ve bought this from Big W (my local had the tag saying $29 but it scanned at $15) and I’m rather impressed. The chance cards seem very relevant to Aus with things like flood levy’s and not having insurance along with looking after fire affected animals. The tokens are also very cute and it’s the usual monopoly dollars (1 to 100 notes).

In fact we have bought a second one to send to family in the UK as it seems so like Aussie life.

  • Great deal, but looks to be OOS

  • I love how the shittiest properties are Belconnen and Queanbeyan, again, just like real life!

  • Don't worry all the BigW's near me are still overflowing including Ebay :)
