Review for The Reverse Umbrella?

Does anyone own or have any experience with The Reverse Umbrella. It is worth the cost? Any negatives compared to the standard umbrella?

Reverse Umbrella

This looks like a great innovation! But I wonder why not many places in Australia are selling this. I would have thought that due to practicality of this reverse umbrella, manufacturers will start to make an umbrella with a design similar to this, rather than the standard umbrella. But it doesnt seems to be that popular so far.

Your thoughts?

  • There's a reason they don't actually show it wet in the rain.

because when you put it down in the rain to go inside, the underside gets all wet - now both sides are wet
then when you open it again, it is raining INSIDE your umbrella

How ridiculous is an umbrella vid/ad not including any rain/water!!

It doesn't cost that much more than a normal umbrella?

FYI The automatic function is also reversed, so instead of pressing the button to pop open the umbrella, then you need two hands to close it, you need two hands to open it, and pressing the button pops/releases the tension so it can be closed.

      Got it thanks!

If you want a quality umbrella, check out brunt umbrellas. They're super sturdy and even undergo wind tunnel testing.

      That should be Blunt Umbrellas

The only problem with this is, if we accidentally left them somewhere it is more costly to keep replacing them in the long term.

We may need a high quality bluetooth umbrella where it will send a notification to our phone if it was outside of x km from our phone and we will be able to geo track them.. haha..

Hahaha, the 'best part'…it can stand on its own.

Their advertising priorities cracked me up.

I got one or two long time ago. They are not easy to carry as not compact, not folded.

    • Same as any bunnings/golf umbrella

  • There's a reason why it's not popular in Australia, because the quality is crap. You are wasting your own money

    • I dont think it is popular anywhere else in the world. Oh well lets go back to the standard umbrella then..
