Home Theatre Center Speaker Suggestions/Recommendations

Hello lovely people,

I am looking to setup a modest home theatre in my house. Nothing fancy but I love quality over convenience. I was never into the all in one 5.1 package. Always wanted to wait and build up the setup.

My current setup is as below
- Front 2 speakers : Q Acoustics 3020
- Rear 2 speakers : Voll P44 (which I purchased off a deal in Ozbargain and very happy with it)

I am now on the hunt for a center speaker and came across 'Polk Audio S30CE Signature Polk Audio Signature S30 E Centre Speaker' in Amazon at $372

Initially I tried to match the center with Q Acoustics but there is not much stock in AU and the price they are now selling is much than what it was before.

Does any one have experience with the above mentioned Polk Audio S30CE speaker ? Are there any other suggestions within that price range ? I am willing to spend in the same range up to $400.

    I got a Q Accoustics 3090 center speaker. Shame you cant find one, it sounds fantastic. It was $299 from Rio Sound and Vision

    I'd match the centre to your fronts rather than mixing brands. Does this match?

    Trying to revive this thread, as I am still on the hunt for a decent center speaker.

    Q Accoustics 3090 which matches my front two speakers is very hard to find now and the stores that have them have really marked up their prices.

    So I am looking at decent alternatives and came across this, ELAC Debut 2.0 C5.2 Center Speaker, Black in Amazon. This is getting shipped from the US so wanted to make sure I am doing the right thing.

    If anyone has any feedback on this speaker, that will be great.

      I have the Elac Debut 2 6.2 Bookshelf speakers and they are fantastic! I've read good things about the C5.2 and C6.2s, so I'm sure you'll be hapyp with them.
