Firm Memory Foam Mattress - Ecosa / Ergoflex

Hiya, I'm thinking of getting a Firm Memory Foam Mattress and now deciding between Ecosa or Ergoflex.
Ecosa is cheaper by $200.

I've seen the reviews, both of them are very good.

Could someone help me to decide?

I can flip a coin. Do you want heads or tails?

    easy decision.

Ecosa first for 100 days. If you don't like it, go the Ergoflex with 30 days trial.

    • !!!! Why didn't I think of that!!!

      Good one!! :)

  • Just purchased one from sleepingduck. I would recommend it.

  • Can’t comment on the Ecosa, but we are on our second Ergoflex.
I have a reasonably bad back and had gone from a layered foam mattress to an IKEA mattress, to a $4000 Sealy, (all other than the foam one were terrible), before trying the Ergoflex. Has been fantastic for me and my wife likes it also.

First one after about 7-8yrs. Was still ok but had developed slight indents. A sale came up and we needed a second mattress for our spare room and the occasional visitors. So decided to purchase a new one for us. That’s about 4-5yrs ago. New one is still as good as the day we got it. We just spin it around every few months.

Still love the Ergoflex and wouldn’t hesitate to buy another in a few years time. I would say though that they’re reasonably firm to start with, but do soften.

  • My Ergoflex mattress is pretty good but we got a topper for it because we thought it was a tad hot in summer. The pillows are rubbish, ours crumbled pretty quickly.

  • I’ve been finding it hard to sleep on either side due to the nerve running through my hips etc and my legs start aching so only get a couple of hours deep sleep before it wakes me up again , does anyone here suffer something similar and has memory foam helped with it as I’m thinking about giving one a go.

    Thankyou

Sciatica hurts, the injection in the back hurts more I reckon
Have a look at https://ahbeard.com/ beds, they seem comfy.
They are made in Oz, so you can ring them and ask them about your sciatica and what mattress would be the best

I have this problem too; I used a long firm pillow and put my arms/legs around it.

something like this, but lots firmer and larger

that's why I'm thinking of memory foam too.

  • I have a medium firm memory foam mattress by A. H. Beard - https://ahbeard.com/
They are celebrating 120 years of making mattresses this year
(I don't have anything to do with them, I just love my mattress)

  • The only mattress that CHOICE rates as hard is the Koala. The Egoflex 5G, soft. They haven't tested an Ecosa.
