Save the offer to your eligible Card and spend $50 or more, in one transaction, in-person only at Ampol & Caltex locations where American Express is accepted by 30/04/2021 to receive one $10 credit. Limited to the first 10,000 Cards to save the offer. Exclusions apply.

      I only got them on two main cards, not on the supplementary ones.

      I shopped for the same deal @ EG Group locations last Dec. It seems this time AmEx pulls out the correct Ampol/Caltex owned locations.

      You sure? The Caltex Woolworths near my house appears on the search list (linked from the offer when I applied it on my card). It says it is currently branded Caltex but being transitioned to Ampol.

      Caltex cards work at Woolworths petrol, but not in the supermarket. Also you can't convert them into other gift cards.

                @Craze: Key word: usually. If you don't get the credit by Thursday, it didn't track, but if you read the Terms and Conditions as you say you have, then you'll also see that it can take up to 90 days.

                  @Purple: I bought fuel on the same day but have not had confirmation nor credit received. Caltex location but indicated on the map that it is a valid location.

                  Now the offer is no longer listed in my account. Does the offer still exist for you and marked as redeemed?

                  Checked the supplementary card and the offer is there now where it wasn't before.

                    @abc: Give another day or two, you should receive the credit because the offer disappeared in your "saved to card" list.
                    The offer is not longer exist in my "saved to card" list in day 2. In day 3 I received the credit.
                    Yes, the offer extended to the supplementary card as well.

      Last time someone reported there is no 3rd party giftcards @ Caltex/Ampol. Only Woolies EG group station has 3rd party giftcards.

              @Craze: I think Caltex/Ampol's locations confuse AmEx too.

              T&C says "Caltex Woolworths locations are excluded." It refers to EG group location, previous or to be transformed Woolies location.

                @Neoika: Hmm so the one bought at EG didn't work even though it's on Amex's list- it registers as EG Fuelco instead of Ampol. Anyone had a different experience, or could send query to Amex to clarify?

                  One Caltex Starmart location triggered the credits for me.

                      @Craze: Just thought I'll provide an update to this- had to contact Amex again yesterday as the credit didn't show up, was then advised it was not an eligible transaction but I mentioned it's a participating location based on Amex's list (EG not Caltex/Ampol). They agreed to manually apply the credit to the account in the end.

        I stopped by 3 Caltex stores which came up on my way, all 3 stores have different GC stocks.
        Bigger/Busier stores have more variety, it really depends on the store.

    Bought Amazon gift cards from 2 different service stations.
    One is branded Ampol(on the receipt and outside) whereas the other one is branded Caltex outside but Ampol on the receipt.

    I went to only those merchant locations which showed up on the Amex offers section(location services needs to be turned on)

    try to buy gift card at 2 ampol station yesterday. One had no gift cards at all, CS man knows nothing as its his first day. Then second station which is a Foodary only has xbox, Netflix.. cards, so in the ends, bought a $100 ampol gift card, which is the only nomination they have, I think most gift cards has been hidden.
