my dad bought a similar pair of headphones by the same brand by accident, and they are absolute garbage. The ones he bought sounded extremely muted and did not get very loud at all (when i cranked up the volume it sounds like those cheap earbuds u get at the dollar shop), the earcups were way too small and uncomfortable and worst of all u need to plug in an extra USB cable if u want RGB to light up on the headphones.

    • Hey mate, sorry to hear that. Not sure what model your dad purchased but do you think he might have a faulty version? Any any case, if there is any warranty issues you would need any help with, please message me and I can try to get that resolved.

      • Hey man, thanks for the offer but unfortunately you guys weren't the sellers my dad bought from.

To clear things up, my negative comment was not to discredit your shop or anything, but to let buyers beware of ONIKUMA branded headphones. My dad bought the ONIKUMA K20 for $39 and as you guys are selling the same branded headphones for almost half the price, so it is reasonable to suspect that the quality of ONIKUMA headphones gets worse the cheaper it is.

    • Bit harsh to give a negative vote if it was similar and not exactly the same
Had some good feedback with previous deal post
      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/569071

  • I bought this on the previous deal and it's working fine. Seems quite sturdy. I don't use it too much, just on Discord sometimes. I found the double 3.5mm adapted handy to use on devices that doesn't work with a single 3.5mm connector.

  • I can confirm that this brand is garbage. Very faulty for me - mic didnt work at all. They were big, which is nice. But not the comfiest.

Sound quality was okay (nothing special I guess) and no noise cancelling at all.

Also there are two 3.5mm and a USB cable, whereas better and pricier headphones only require a USB cable

    • USB is just for the lights. You don't need to connect the USB.

      • im aware of that, my point was that there are additional cables (3 as opposed to 1) when compared to 'better' headphones out there.

  • I have the same headset previously purchased on sale. Physical mic mute button broke wtihin a week of using it.

Other than that, it's ok for the sale price.

  • I bought two from an eBay seller about 6 months ago. Both cracked on the left earphone side after a month but was refunded.

Unless they've stepped up their game I would avoid.

  • if anyone wants a decent pair of affordable headphones

hardwarecanucks reviewed all the top 10 wireless gaming headsets and the most affordable one in the list was the Mpow BH415A for like $69

i went ahead and bought it from aliexpress and worth every penny

    • wireless + wired options
    • Best mic clarity compared to even the $200 options
    • nice big soft cushy foam. the foam is pleather so will probably peel in a few years. nothing a bit of tape and a headphone cover from ebay wont solve
    • cups are nice and big and relieves any head pressure
    • audio is freaking loud. i had a far better gaming experience being able to detect footsteps even better than usual
    • uses strong ABS plastic and metal. doesnt feel cheap at all
  • +1

I had my brother-in-law gammer who owns an expensive pair of NC headphones (can't remember the brand) give these a go to see the difference in audio quality. He said he was impressed considering the price. The sound was clear enough and the volume was not as loud as his expensive pair, but was sufficient enough for use. The mic wasn't tested.

I have bought these for my son twice. The first pair the dog chewed the mic, so in the bin they went, the second pair have been going fine for 3 months now.
I feel, for the price, if my 10 year old gets 6-12 months out of them, then it's a good buy. The construction quality also seems good, one would expect it to look and feel nastier at this price point.
