I was looking for a comfortable computer chair as these days mostly working from home. I went to Officeworks store and tested all the chairs and found the Thunder X3 being a comfortable chair there. It was $269 (+ no store stock in NSW but available online).

Checking online for a better price found Umart had them on sale for $199, so have just ordered one from Officeworks over the phone for $189.05 which I think is a good deal (It will be ready to collect at Officeworks in about 5 days).

There are more colors available at Umart at the same price except the Blue/Black one which is $229.

  Heads up. The quality of these chairs are horrible and I would not recommend anyone buying one.

  After one year, the gas lift will fail and so will the fake leather. The chair is also unbalanced and poses as a danger risk.

  IMO I found the chair very bad for my back and caused a lot of back pain.

  This chair

  Used to be $99, lasted much longer and was more comfortable.

    i happen to have the TGC 22 model and it has held up well.

    i previously had the officeworks chair and from my opinion would stay away from them, they are too cheap, foam wears down quick and never had a chair that material would fall apart so fast :)

    Have to agree, gas lift died after a year and got a replacement through warranty. I have to admit that they sent the part quite quickly via courier.

    As for unbalanced, have to agree there too. Leaned back too far and almost fell off except for catching my desk. Ended up breaking the back of the chair. Its metal welded and the weld broke left side. Right side held up but bent. Had to pay $60 for replacement.

    Just to update, I didn't buy from UMart and I went direct to manufacturer for issues.

    Wish the aerodynamic chairs be more affordable.

  How this compare to the Blitzwolf chair at Banggood? I feel the cushion needs a bite loving (I'm a big bloke)

  I dont not recommend this chair for this price. (I bought it back in 2017)
  I weigh between 70-80kg
  After 8 months the gas lift lost half its hieght
  after 14 months the rubber arm rests started crumbling and flaking to bits.
  After 2 hours the main cushion started to feel hard.
