Samsung QLED 4K Smart TV - Q60T 75" QA75Q60TA $1,888 + Shipping (Free Pick-up) @ JB Hi-Fi

150

Been monitoring these to go on sale since they announced the 2021 line. Looks to be same price they had on Black Friday. Also noticed that not all stores have it for local pick up so I had to pay 59 on shipping which is still an alright deal.

EDIT: RTings comparison of TU8000 vs Q60T. https://www.rtings.com/tv/tools/compare/samsung-q60-q60t-qle…

tl;dr of the comparison: Q60T is better in most ways except response time but it also has better black frame insertion to try and balance this out (important for games/sports). That wasn't really my use case so can't say that mattered too much, I just wanted to try this QLED stuff. :P

Q60T has a worse response time/motion blur vs the cheap TU8000 according to Rtings reviews, important for those purchasing for mainly sports/gaming

    • Yeah, lucky I was really just looking to watch some TV shows and movies. Added the TU8000 vs Q60T review from RTings as I'm sure many are doing the same comparison.

  • Get a hisense s8 much better and cheaper

  • Honestly skip these and go for a "lower brand" with FALD. Hisense Q8 is nice and cheap with quantumn dot and FALD.

Samsung has a habit of stripping features on their tv's and moving it to a higher model the following year.

I have a q70t and the only thing good about it is 120hz at 4k, you need to step into Q75 or Q80 for a good image.
