  • Too good to be true. Probably typo

  • I think they stuffed up, but will try to get one anyway

  • This is cheap if it is true. I suspect it is typo also.

  • Can't be legit, surely?

  • It's gone…

  • No longer available…LOL.

  • "No Longer Available"

  • I managed to get one, lets see if they honour it

    • Same here, I doubt it though.

  • Best of luck - that would be a hell of a buy!

Looks like it was a typo and they fixed it.

My apologies to everyone who missed out.

Those that were quick enough, I hope it works out for you :)

    Refund for me as well.

<insert usual OzB response about calling ACCC, starting Facebook group, never buying from TechBuy again> :P

    • Reply to me with the reason of cancellation:

"We had limited stock of this laptop and have already sold out.
Unfortunately, we won’t be able to order in more of these laptops.
However, if this offer is reopened or if we have a similar offer, would you like us to inform you?"

Standard response…. What can the consumer do???? <:P>

      • Didn't they dig a hole for themselves? They said it was a limited stock thing but let you buy one. They didn't say it was a pricing error, which would have been legitimate. They actually gave you a reason to go to ACCC.

        From ACCC web site:

"advertises goods and services at a specific price when it is, or should have been aware, that it would not be able to supply enough of the good at the price for a reasonable amount of time. This is called bait advertising."

        Food for thought…

        • I received the same copy and paste response to my cancellation enquiry

    • Pleaes upload the receipt, thank you :-) want to try PM too

    • upload the receipt please

    • show us pic or it never happen!!

    • Officework does not sell thinkpad

  • +1

lol if it were that easy, you could be a vendor, rig your prices, price match for stock from OW, refund customers stating error then resell OW stock at a higher price!

  • Since the deal is a pricing error and everyone who made a purchase seem to be getting refunds, this will be moved to forums.
