Not any kind of shorts though, only jorts or cargos.

    • If you can pull it, yes.

    • Brogues are a more casual shoe, it wouldnt look out of place with jeans. Lots of people wear shoes like Trickers with jeans.

Have bought Goodyear welted CR & Trenery shoes in the past, but only when on sale at their online outlet site for a lot less than this.

Based on those I have bought, these are likely made in India & slightly lesser quality control than your well known UK brands that also make their cheaper lines in India (with less stringent quality standards and cheaper cuts of leather compared to those made in UK).

However, most people wouldn't even know what GYW is, let alone the subtleties of quality differences for leather cut and location for handmade manufacture, so these would probably impress the vast majority.

RRP for these is a joke though. Would never pay their full RRP, when you can import a much higher quality UK made GYW shoe for a similar price.

Take $40-50 off again and that's my guesstimate of where they start becoming a bargain for their quality level.

Only way to know for sure though, is to see them in person.

      • got any links to where i can buy the ones for cheaper with higher quality?

        Thank ye kindly!!

That's compared to the $299 RRP for these.

Depending on exchange rate at the time, sale or clearance items at links below are good places to find bargains for ~A$250. Have had good service from both over the years. These days GST & shipping can add to that, but sales 2-3 times a year or seconds (usually return items that might have been tried on a couple of times) might get you some good deals.

Good to know your UK size, by trying on say RM Williams or Loakes, if available locally.

(their own Herring brand, often uses OEM from very reputable brands, can be incredible value at sale times)
