Can anyone recommend a roof restoration company in Sydney ? Need someone who can do a good job that will last and is honest.
I need full re-pointing done. The old ones are pealing off. Also looking to get it re-painted.
The house is about ~250 sqm, what would be the rough cost for re-pointing and painting. ?

I just got a quote from a popular restoration franchise. Repointing and painting was approx $7k. My roof is also around 250sqm.
Go on Facebook, so many of them. Have done once last Nov through one of the facebook guy for $1500 included GST. Repointing and repaint my single level house around 150 sqm.
Do you mind sharing which company you went with? How many caps had to be repointed?
I go with AUC painting and i dont think there is an cap on repointing as i am not sure if my roof need any'
Consider replacing with a brand new roof. Will cost more upfront but over its life will be cheaper than multiple restorations.
Why get a new roof if the existing tiles are still within their service life? If it's 50+ years old concrete tiles, yeah I get that but what if it's terracotta or something a fair bit newer?
Painting last a few years at best. Tiles get brittle with age. "A fair bit newer?"… that would not need repainting if it is that new. I have seen too many roof restoration projects where the crew break more roof tiles by walking around the roof so much…. washing, re pointing, coat 1, coat 2, coat 3.
Try APT Roofing or VJ Roofing.
