NordicTrack FS5i FreeStride Elliptical Trainer $1899.99 Delivered @ Costco (Membership Required)

90

These Nodtic tracks ellipticals are highly rated and the price is excellent. They are over $3000 elsewhere

Only downside is lousy Cosco will only deliver to people in East Coast Metro areas like Sydney and Melbourne.

Most of Australia (like me in Ballarat ) cannot purchase it as Costco is to lousy to offer a delivery option .

    Are they free?

They aren't lousy, they just don't want to pay the added shipping costs as it probably doesn't suit their margins

They are lousy because they do not offer an option for the customer to pay extra delivery

  • Why go for this one over a rear or front flywheel? Is it the space saving? I am genuinely interested and looking for an elliptical machine for our home.

There are some nordictrak machines around this price but are different.

    • The mid drives have longer stride length so are much better suited for people with longer strides (Like me :) )

Also the ones I use at Gym ( Precore AMT .. around $12000 new !!) I find have a better more flowing stride movement than front drives and then can move from a stepper type motion to a more natural running type motion .

I have a older front drive at home and I have been looking for a midrive . My old front drive has a stride of 19 Inches which is really too short for me vs middrives have strides up to around 30 inches or more.

      • Interesting I was reading about stride but couldn’t see how it would matter too much. The one at my gym is life fitness and rear drive.

I’ll keep looking didn’t know they were this much… is Nordic up there as “best”?

I know concept 2 make good cardio equipment but don’t do an elliptical/ cross trainer. Would spend money on something decent.

I saw this one is discontinued. I don’t really need a tv screen but need something digital and automatic for the stress level

        Maybe Sole is best?
