    Great game at a steal price. It plays better on PS5 at 4K60, but you get it free anyway.

    This for $11 and you have to pay at least $79 for pretty much every first party nintendo switch game that has came out. Even ones that are years old. Having said that god of war is superb and if you haven't played it you owe it to yourself to do so at this price.

    Going against the crowd here… Just couldn't get into this game. Not averse to the style as I really liked Shadow of War etc… The story and gameplay never managed to hook me in.

      I thought I was the only person in the world. Almost felt guilty considering how much other people seemed to love it. I couldn't get into it either. Kratos annoyed me immensely, as did the boy, I felt the armour / upgrades etc. were more complex than they needed to be etc. It did look amazing to its credit though.

        My main complaint is that I think it would have been better if it was a shorter game. Not a 20 hour game. 15 hours would be better. Some sections do seem to drag a little. I do find a lot of the armour you pickup is pointless. And the difference between Hard and "Give Me God of War" difficulty is huge.

        But they really are just minor nit picks. Overall gameplay, graphics and story is excellent.

        I loved Shadow of Mordor. But I couldn't get into Shadow of War. I dropped it after 5 hours. Got really bored.

    I was the biggest fan of this on the ps3 version. Tried to play it(gow3) on ps4 in 2020 after playing god of war (reboot of 2018) and it just feels dated. The higher pixel count and frame rate couldn't make up for the the gameplay and game mechanics of a game that was originally released more than a decade ago. YMMV
