$3 Bonus Cashback on $30 Spend at Any Active Online Store @ Cashrewards (Includes GC Portal, Excludes eBay, Activation Required)

The $3 bonus will show as pending in your Cashrewards account within a few minutes of activating the offer (no confirmation email is sent). $3 Bonus Promo Terms:

  • To be eligible for the AUD $3 bonus, you must first activate the promotion via the main link in this post, then shop as normal via any active online store* on Cashrewards, excluding eBay Australia.
  • Transaction must be made between 11:00AM AEST 09/04/21 and 11:59PM AEST 09/04/21.
  • Bonus is eligible on qualifying purchases of AUD $30 or more in a single transaction (inclusive of GST, after any discounts, and before shipping). Sales may report to Cashrewards ex-GST so the amount shown in your account may be less than $30 - you will still be eligible for the bonus.

      For small purchases, 2% cashback is meh!

        Actually for 15c more its better to go straight Ebay card than messing around . I went another direct card saving an extra $1.80 instead of buying them at 6% off .

  • Make sure to screenshot if you are purchasing any deal through Cashrewards!
    Just now I got email saying

    "From the resolution details that the store has provided to us I can see that this particular sale has not been attributed to Cashrewards. This means that after clicking though Cashrewards, a click was made (likely unknowingly) supporting another marketing channel which has resulted in Cashrewards not receiving any commission on your purchase to pass back to you.
    Due to the resolution outlined by the store, this transaction has been marked as declined in your Cashrewards account. "

    I am sure if I have had the screenshot they couldn't ignore my cashback. :(

      People always give ShopBack shit for not tracking their cashbacks but I personally have had more issues with Cashrewards so far.

      • As an experienced shopper when we want to use Cashrewards or Shopback, I am sure we always check everything to get that % of chashback!
        So when they email you, saying you did something wrong which is why it was not tracked is like a slap on the face!

        At the end both Cashrewards and Shopback want to have more money and sure customer satisfaction is not the first priority!

      The screenshot hardly matters for most of these purchases, if the sale isn't attributed to CR then they can't pay you (as the company hasn't paid them). There's a multitude of factors as to why (you could have clicked away to Google or any other website that is an affiliate) and that'll impact your tracking.

      Best way to do it is to open an incognito page with no ad blocking, nothing installed in toolbar and nothing that will impact your cookies. You need to click through and only stay on the website and buy, don't click anywhere else. I personally have most luck via their app as it is done in their own client and generally isn't affected.

      I've got no idea why people think CR or SB or any of these companies intentionally try not to pay out, in most cases it's user error and they have cookies attributed to a different affiliate.

      • The purchase was made via Web Browser Extension of cashreward active for that respective website.So there is no way I made a mistake!

        I believe if this kind of thing is happened not necessary the shopper (user) problem, there might be a problem between CR/SP and that respective store but at the end when there in no clue, nothing is easier that blaming user that you have done something wrong and this is the result!

        • Don't be deceived by the web browser extension, it doesn't really mean anything in real terms if you then go and affect the cookies and make it track to a different affiliate. The extension is useful to pickup and easily identify the website %, but you need to also adhere to all other tracking which the extension doesn't magically do for you.

          You're taking the wrong viewpoint here. It might not be "your fault", but you need to be diligent and adhere to all of their requirements. The store isn't going to pay every single affiliate, they only pay the one that is in your cookies, so if it's not CR then you won't get paid.

          As I said, it's not too difficult if you completely reduce the risk of cookies being affected by cleaning everything out prior to purchase, especially it's a large purchase because you want every chance of tracking to work.

    Sorry but I'll skip this time, $30 not needing to be spend this time. If it was but smaller minimum spend would have bought but $30 no atm

    • same, when the amount was smaller, i could go ahead and buy something i kinds of needed but not so much, but if i'm spending $30 then it would have to be for something i'm really sure i need. Still missing those 50% cashback on bookdepository though.

    Real shame that the Choice gift card has dropped from 5% cashback to only 1.5%

    Any idea if it’s going to go back to the regular 5% discount soon?

    I am told by TrueRewards that their Cashrewards partnership is restricted to the stores mentioned on the cashback page (TrueRewards also sells the Choice gift card on their own website, no cashback offered but also unrestricted to all stores available on their platform, including JB Hi-Fi for example). The Choice gift card is really not a great product at only 1.5% cashback!
