  • i read a while ago fitbit products are not lasting very long there are millions reviews saying they broke and got replaced twice three times same problem.
about the band ? cant remember .. this model is fine?

    • I haven't used a Fitbit myself before, and for those I know who uses them haven't used them for long period of time yet. So not sure.

    • There were some issues with the band for sure.

That being said, Fitbit did deal with it appropriately (after a lot of complaining from community). Mine broke after a year and a half and Fitbit had a specific form to fill out. You take a photo of the broken band and a few details and they send a new band out to you for free. Easy to add back on and new bands seem fine/have lasted me at least 6 months so far without issue.

Note this is for Charge 2, can't comment on newer models but would have thought they'd be improved.

    • I have had a fitbit charger 2 before and it didn't even last a year before it wouldn't turn on.

    • Had 2 fitbit charge 2 before, both died just after 1 year; won't buy fitbit again.

    • have a fitbit charge 2 which I've had for 3-4 years now, i'm HOPING that it breaks so I have an excuse to change it… otherwise I just keep replacing the band when it snaps

  • When is the 5 out?

    • Please find out for us, jv =) I believe in you.

      • Please find out for us

No, I'll just wait until a deal is posted.

The 4 has been out for a while now, so I'm expecting the 5 to be released soon…
