  i read a while ago fitbit products are not lasting very long there are millions reviews saying they broke and got replaced twice three times same problem.
  about the band ? cant remember .. this model is fine?

    I haven't used a Fitbit myself before, and for those I know who uses them haven't used them for long period of time yet. So not sure.

    There were some issues with the band for sure.

    That being said, Fitbit did deal with it appropriately (after a lot of complaining from community). Mine broke after a year and a half and Fitbit had a specific form to fill out. You take a photo of the broken band and a few details and they send a new band out to you for free. Easy to add back on and new bands seem fine/have lasted me at least 6 months so far without issue.

    Note this is for Charge 2, can't comment on newer models but would have thought they'd be improved.

    I have had a fitbit charger 2 before and it didn't even last a year before it wouldn't turn on.

    have a fitbit charge 2 which I've had for 3-4 years now, i'm HOPING that it breaks so I have an excuse to change it… otherwise I just keep replacing the band when it snaps
