Tetris Effect is Tetris like you've never seen it, or heard it, or felt it before—an incredibly addictive, unique, and breathtakingly gorgeous reinvention of one of the most popular puzzle games of all time, from the people who brought you the award-winning Rez Infinite and legendary puzzle game Lumines. Fully playable on either a standard display (up to 4K and 60fps on a PS4 Pro), or optionally in mind-blowing 3D on PS VR.

Music, backgrounds, sounds, special effects - everything, down to the Tetris pieces themselves, pulse, dance, shimmer, and explode in perfect sync with how you're playing, making any of the game's 30+ stages and 10+ modes something you'll want to experience over and over again.

Tried to report the previous deal to have the expiry removed but wouldn't let me. Feel free to close this one and re-open that one mods if appropriate

I've never been a fan of tetris but quite enjoyed this on Gamepass. Do people feel the VR is worth an extra $15?

I played on Oculus Quest and it was immersive with the sound and environment.

      Gamepass

      You mean PS Plus?

      • +1

Na, it's included on Xbox Game Pass. It launched with Multiplayer as a time exclusive on Xbox, with the "Connected" (multiplayer) update coming to PlayStation mid year.

Yea! Paired with some good headphones, game is a trip in VR.

      Music is exceptional.

    Damn it, sold out :(

I feel like games like this where you play occasionally in bite size chunks are better digitally. As they don't take up much HD space and you don't have to swap the disc.

    • +2

$27.50 vs $15. If you only play them occasionally then changing the disc isn't such a big deal.

  • Man, was just trawling EB for this. MIssed out here too
