    I have this very same bottle and the packaging stated it was rated for X amount of hours storing hot beverages. Don't know if it's the same model but definetely have kept tea hot for several hours.

      Yes clearly thermos make models that they say can have hot water; they explicitly say that this isn't one of them.

      The Hydration bottles are intended for use with cold liquids only. Hot liquids can scald user.

      Also explicitly called out on the kitchen warehouse website for the same model.

    I have one of Thermos, pour in boiling water the night, it will still be HOT after 10 hours..very happy with it.. ( found something like this after trying lot other alternatives)..
