    Didn't know much abotu HDMI 2.1 so googled;

    Allow me to fire some HDMI 2.1 bullets.

    • The physical connectors and cables look the same as today's HDMI.
    • Improved bandwidth from 18 gigabits per second (HDMI 2.0) to 48Gbps (HDMI 2.1).
    • Can carry resolutions up to 10K, frame rates up to 120 frames per second.
    • New cables are required for higher resolutions and/or frame rates.
    • Many new TVs have at least one HDMI 2.1 input.
    • The main sources that can take advantage of 2.1 right now are the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, as well as high-end graphics cards like the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 and RTX 3080.

  Not a good price, 2021 stock about to be released, which you will likely get around $1800s or less once the release & discounts start, example bing lee already has 2021 model listed at $1995

    As of late TV manufacturers like Samsung are going back in feature set with every new annual revision, don't have high hopes if its going to be better feature wise e.g. HDMI 2.1

      these are just base model tv's average at best which before covid was averaging $1200-$1500, paying $1500+ at end of life.. each to their own on that

        Plenty of tvs have 2.1 already. Q70 and higher from Samsung, LG's CX series, Sony's x900h
