      At this price, it's probably not bad… their complaint about no yoghurt setting is negated by the fact it has a sous vide setting (i.e., you can manually set for yoghurt, as well as a bajillion other temps and times, so it's even better than a yoghurt button). Their other complaints about a lack of guidance are… um… I suppose given how dumb the average person is, maybe this is a relevant complaint.

      I paid $285 at the last Amazon special, and the cheapest ever was like $269.90 or something like that.

          Yup, that's how I describe mine to people - however, it heats up a lot faster because of the smaller size, and the basket design means there aren't any soggy undersides. The fan is also a bit more forced, which adds to the crunch.

          They occupy different use cases with some overlap, and for those with smaller households or who enjoy things which are normally best when deep fried but don't really want to have to pull out a deep fryer, an airfryer can be useful.
