    • Still a saving.

Maybe you should add it's 1024 x 768p Resolution. That's a big factor that people take into account not the "600Hz Sub Field Driving" mumbo jumbo.

Ouch! You can't get a TV this big and not have 1080p…. :S

        • Thanks for the advice, I am still only new here. I have updated the product listing :D

        • apparantly plasma 55" and less, LCD 32" and Less doesnt really make too much of a difference when you line them up side by side… that said, I still feel better in the comfort of a 1080P

        • @wisc - you also have to remember though that @ 1024 x 768, you're getting stretched pixels..

For a true 16:9 ratio it would have to have 1366x768, or 1280x720.

        • ahh yeah forgot about the ratio… HD VS FULL HD isnt going to make too much of a difference. but yeah 4:3…

is it full hd? not that great anyway we have seen samsung 51" fhd 3d plasma for $699 on here which is a better brand and more features

    • Good deal for the Samsung 51". No it isn't a Full HD. This is still the cheapest you will find this particular TV.

You can buy cheaper here with free shipping.

    • You don't know our shipping charge. We ship very cheaply to places like Sydney or Melbourne. Try us out, you may be suprised :D

      • Less than 25 bucks to ship a 50" plasma?

Not worth buying a screen this big and not full hd

        • That's about $15 more when you take into account shipping. But thanks for posting a competitors link and proving a point.

        • I don't know what point that is. Depends where you are shipping to and prices have been changed.

    • see my comments above, I thought the same, however, do a bit of reading you'll see if you line them up side by side for a plasma this size it doesnt really make a difference.

We have these set up side by side in our store. I have to admit you cannot tell the difference from a proper viewing distance when watching DVDs and TV. Bluray is a different matter though and of course if you are 1.5m away from a 1.2m screen you will see the difference.

        • i was just about to say this.
when i sit close to my big TV i see everything.

  • Can anyone provide me with a link to the cheapest 51" Samsung Plasma 3D .

  • double post

What's with the insane $85 HDMI price that's the default at the bottom?

What about this 32inch LED? only for $330

I don't see the relevance here, 50" name brand plasma vs 32" cheapo LED? That said, the price is lame. There has been an almost equvelant Sony for 335 in the last month, pretty easy decision.

    • not quite 55 inches
