Hi there, just wanted to hear some feedback and your experience with eBay Managed Payments registration. I’m getting bombarded by eBay emails and calls to register and if you don’t , eBay blocks ability to post new listings and modify existing. My concerns, they’re asking to sign direct debit and provide copy of Drivers License: they can deduct money by mistake and then chase them for refund and then there is the privacy concerns that they hold your bank account details with your Drivers License.
Please share your experience.
Its no different to paypal, they could take money out of the paypal account by 'mistake' without asking you.
But I agree, I don't like the 'new' arrangement or the increase in seller fees they slipped in as part of this.
Once my current listings sell out on the platform, then I think I'm done.
The entire block your account until they get your way doesn't work for me. I'll just sell elsewhere, ebay has been so so for a long time.
