  We use these (and variations of these - same shape and form factor, different branding) for our macbooks in our office. Seem relatively reliable and are simple plug-and-play setups. They all get fairly hot, but I've been using a VAVA usb c hub for about 1.5 years and it's still going strong. Got a Hoo-Too version of, I'm guessing, this exact hub for a colleague and it's been running well for the last few months
