I almost think this is bait and switch.
Too many mistakes from such a big company to think this is a legit error. How on earth can they get the wrong Description, price AND a different branded tv in the image!
Where I work we send emails to all the staff with upcoming brochures to find mistakes before they are sent. Never even had a spelling error.
Good guys fail.
People DO make mistakes, and yes they could/should be more careful, but its really up to the authorities to police this. If you are so annoyed did you complain to appropriate authority, or engage a solicitor, after being rejected by Good Guy's anything else is a waste of time.
Oh and who should wear the mistake, HO or the franchise. Or having the person who made the mistake sacked?
One of the things is now we have a "watchdog" - Ozbargan, means that these mistakes now go viral, something in the past wasnt there.
Lets say that the correct thing is to supply the TV at that price. Who to? how many before they can legitimately say they have sold out, or will they have to keep supplying until the end date, and how many can one person buy. someone could just go in and buy all their stock before we even have a look in.
Being a bargain hunter doesnt mean we should be unreasonable. Sometimes we get lucky - other times we miss out, thats life. At least here we have a better chance of getting a deal.
at least they could offer some sort of decent deal on a 32inch tv, im after one for a project, only need a panel!
I think regardless of the chance you mat pick up a toshiba tv, this should be posted in the deals as its still a 32inch full HD tv under $200-
