A brand new Supa IGA has just opened in Footscray with lots of Asian specialty food and live seafood, the eggs were super cheap, 70 grams in a box of 10 for only $0.99!!!!!!!! Seems like a lot of other stuff are on sale too.

Europe have them in 10 packs. Haven't seen many Australian ones though.
I have seen this with larger eggs like these. Because you get more egg in 10x70g eggs than in a dozen 50g eggs.

I got myself 2 box of eggsm, OH YEA!. There are also live seafood like lobster, crabs, barramundi… soo fresssssssh.
Anyways I just came home from it and got me alot of eggs 48 in fact. They had them in half-dozens. And each half-dozen was only 49 cents. Which works out as a dozen for a dollar. =) Thanks for posting, I needed more eggs to make 10 min muffins with pattie. =)

I think i forgot to check that when i bought them. It says no where they are free range. So I assume they are caged? Maybe, perhaps. If they are caged, the poor chickens stuck in a tight coop whilst i make muffins out of their products. =(
this Supa IGA is pretty good. the meat, veggies, household daily stuff…. are much cheaper than the Coles just accross thae street. it's live seafood selection is awesome… esp crabs n lobsters! A+++
