*Search " Tuya Smart " in Google Play Store for Android/Apple Store for iOS, then install it.
*Click " Add Device ", then choose " Lighting ” and " Strip β€œ.
*Make sure your WiFi is 2.4GHz, then enter WiFi password and confirm.
*The most important step is to perform the following operations on your power switch: ON/OFF/ON/OFF/ON. Until you see the light blinks rapidly.
*Please confirm the frequency of flashing of your lights: 0.5 seconds each time, or 2 seconds each time.

    have had the xaiomi light strip for years and have not once been able to connect it to the app. Reviews seem decent here will give it a try

    Just for everyone out there trying to connect the strip. Turn off and on the power source not the remote…

        ok full steps.

        1. download tuya (no need to sign in if you don't want to)
        2. add a light strip device in the app (Lighting > strip lights (wifi))
        3. app will prompt to connect to a 2.4hz wifi
        4. turn on the power source (not the remote's on off), if lights not blinking then power it off. (repeat this steps till light blinking)
        5. Confirm the light is blinking in the app.
        6. Enjoy

          yeah mine will sometimes maybe once every 3 months stop talking to google assistant (I turn it on and off every day via voice). Simply unplug from the wall and plug back in, immediately rights itself :) such a good 5m Wi-Fi strip for the price!

          Can't get mine to connect to wifi.

          2.4hz wifi - yep
          correct password - yep
          lights blinking -yep
          tuya app - yep

          Have reset network and device many times but the Tuya app fails to find the device :(

          Any suggestions?

          I've used the Tuya app with other products with no problems. Just seems to be this Jesled light strip.
