Does Amazon AU Charge Locally or Internationally When Purchasing an Imported Item

Anyone know if imported items (Amazon US / UK) items purchased through Amazon AU incur an international transaction fee?

Locally - I have some vendors (like Spotify) who charge in AUD but it is still an International transaction somehow!

Amazon AU is not like this.

With all my experiences, the price listed via AU site, is in AUD and final price to pay, even if coming from Amazon US. I've bought many items from Amazon US.

No international transaction fee, however YMMV. Westpac slug an international transaction fee for Book Depository purchases

Payments for anything sold in Amazon.com.au (regardless the sellers) are processed locally by Amazon AU thus won't have international fees.

Never had international transaction fees on Amazon.com.au.

Some sites like Lego get slapped with an international transaction fee even though the site lists everything in AUD.
