No idea how good this is. But $30 for a cordless iron, it might be a deal for someone.

  • Wow a cordless iron!! I’ve been going on for years that a manufacturer should develop a cordless iron. It makes a lot of sense. But we recently bought a nice Phillips one unfortunately.

    • I read some reviews that cordless clothes iron can only be used for 2 minutes then they need to be charged again. I was hoping to see something close to 10 minutes.

      • Yeah they're a pain, they run out of juice so quickly they're not really worth it imo

      • Ok, but if you have the base nearby then as you move clothes around, you keep putting it down on the base and it reheats.

Irons have a lot of thermal inertia. I hear mine tick on and off as I use it and it’s every 30 seconds say. I reckon with an inbuilt battery or more metal, it would stay hotter for longer than a standard corded one.

I wouldn’t even say they needed a battery.

        • yeah, I get the use case for how it is currently designed. I have a scenario in mind where I don't have to be near a power point to iron 2-3 pieces of clothing, which I sometimes do in the morning before going to work.

  • Highlights

Continuous steam: up to 45 seconds
Continuous dry ironing: up to 130 seconds
    Recharge time: approximately 27 seconds

Wow… just about enough time to iron the iron on label

There's an option to keep it corded. The cordless function is useful for certain parts of clothing or quilting only.

      • Makes sense

  • We have a cordless one and they are rubbish. We now leave it plugged into the base and use it as corded. Don't hold the heat at all. They need an inbuilt battery which we thought it did but they dont.
