World's greatest game back in the days of the old Amiga. Upvote for the nostalgia, even if I can't comment on how this version of SWOS plays.

    Everyone loves a goal-scoring, superstar hero…

I remember countless hours playing this on our Amiga 500…

        Amen to that.

SWOS, Pirates! and Hounded stole my adolescence…

        • Sierra games, Pirates & Dungeon Master stole the hours for me on the Atari ST.

Monkey Island was a favourite of mine on my Amiga 600+, also street fighter 2, of course SWOS and also Championship Manager, ooh and Theme Park, so many great games.

Everyone likes Football, except the Americans that call it Soccer :(
Do they not like it hard & make the balls from socks: ;)

      You are a king

  • Loved this game when I was younger!

  • Wasted so many hours of study playing Sensible Soccer back in the day.

    No regrets

  • Was sensible soccer the old game on the nes/master system that you could take out the goal posts and hit people?

I remember my friend going on about a soccer game like that and I think it was sensible soccer.

But now that I type this and think about it, he may have just been lying to me.

Pretty sure there was never a feature like that. Sensible soccer was only really big on Amiga, ithink it did get a console release at some point but it was not very popular (although later it's appeared as a Live arcade etc) so doubt it ever made the master system

Sounds like Speedball. It was more like handball than soccer though.

  • Thanks OP. Dl it.
