Man Lenovo's website is a mess. Takes ages to find anything.

    • Yes it has too many confusing layers of crap and stupid categories. They really should look at how easy apple makes it to find and buy what you want on their site. Saying that apple has a smaller product range so it may be easier for them to organise. Then again does Lenovo really need 100 different models of laptop in their line up? i don't think so. Just make fewer things but make them well

      • Read some news about the new e14 gen 3 with newer AMD chips don't Think it's on the au site yet, but yeah I agree there is no need to have so many models when you can simply customise once you select something. ThinkPads are amazing long lasting laptops however

The other annoying thing with Lenovo is their products line up depends on the region - models, customisation options, prices etc. vary depending on where you are. This does not make much sense to me since most of their stuff is made and shipped from china anyway. This was so frustrating i gave trying to buy any lenovo systems due to no ryzen options, only crap screen configs available locally, rip off price compared to similar models in the US etc.

With Apple you can order on day one the same product with the same customisation option for an equivalent price in any market. I'm not an apple user but they just seem to run their whole business much better than their competitors in lots of categories

      • Honestly Apple's website is beautiful, bet it cost em a fortune. But even something like Dell where they have lots of products but it's laid out logically.

Need tightarse to post a good deal to use with the shopback

    • Yeah I'm struggling to find much that would be a bargain at current pricing.

  • Does anyone know whether cashback will work on Lenovo education sites?

    • Not usually.

"Purchases through Lenovo Education store page are ineligible for cashback"

  • No limit is good. Not as good as 20% that they've had before but more recent times they have limited it to $300.

  • A couple of the X1 Carbon gen 9s are pretty good but they use the XTRA5 discount code. It would be good if Shopback added that code.

  • I hope you all have changed your passwords. There was a recent data breach on shopback's site.

  • Shopback failed again, i think i will stop using them.
