Gillette slightly better but Schick hydro 5 lasts way longer, so that's my pick
I got both Gillette Mach 3 and Schick hydro 3 handles.
I switch between both brands depending upon specials.
Personally, I would recommend Schick hydro 3 for normal shave. Hydro 5 for smooth shave. If you have sensitive skin then Gillette sensitive is the best.
I agree, used Gillette Mach 3 for about 20 years, a year or two ago switched to Schick hydro 3 not much in it but I think Schick does a better job, the blades last longer and easier to clear of whiskers. Also Schick doesn’t have insulting media campaigns. Yet.
Schick Hydro 5 Sense. Switched to these from Gillette years ago and never looked back.
Way cheaper and gives a much better shave IMHO.
Schick all the way. My dad is a convert from Gillete too.

Been using Schick Quattro Titanium for years.
Also tried the Gillette ProGlide (with the orange Flexball), which I quite like also but havent bought refills since.
Schick or Gilette? Which is better for cleaner shave? Currently using disposable Schick Extreme 3 razors but the blue (and allegedly better) version is no longer in production, replaced by inferior green version.
Please don't bring in the topic on recent sexism debate with Gilette. Not interested. Only want to know which product is better.
