"The Razer Kraken Tournament Edition is the first gaming headset to introduce THX Spatial Audio-creating realistic depth by simulating positionally-accurate sound in a 360 degrees sphere around you for greater awareness in your in-game surroundings. Combining powerful bass with clear audio, the custom-tuned 50 mm drivers unveil a world full of soundscapes, from subtle footsteps sneaking up behind you to climatic explosions for mind-blowing gaming audio. Customize audio and mic controls for on-the-fly personalization.

One of the biggest peeves in gaming is when team communication gets interrupted by the sound of battle and vice-versa. The Razer Kraken Tournament Edition features a new Game/Chat Balance so you can tune between the game and chat audio for the perfect mix of immersion and communication. Every gamer has a preference when it comes to bass.

The Razer Kraken Tournament Edition comes with Bass Control at 17 adjustable levels, so you can find the most suitable intensity for play. Cooling gel-infused ear cushions reduce heat build-up, while a soft cloth and leatherette combination provides comfort and sound isolation so you can enjoy gaming for hours. Following are the system requirements for this headset - PC with USB port; PlayStation 4, Windows 10 / Windows 8 / Windows 7, internet connection for driver installation and at least 500 MB of free hard disk space. Available in black color."

  • Worth getting at this price to replace my aging Cloud 2's? Or just get another set of clouds?

    • I've tried every single pair of high end gaming headsets and ended up selling them all due to them just sounding bad. Using a pair of cloud flights now and really happy with them.

      • How were the audeze penrose?

Cheapest maybe for the black, I bought the green version for $62 during December

    • How do you like them?

      • +4

I use them on the Switch and PS5 as a 3.5 mm and it is very comfortable, I thought the cooling gel stuff was marketing, but it is comfortable to wear over extended hours and doesn't get hot and sound quality is very good ( at least my non audiophile ears )

Tried the THX USB adapter connection on PC and it was good too, nothing magical

  • Thanks OP needed a decent wired set

  • Thanks, was looking at either 5.1 or 7.1 capable wired headphones (even if it's only put through Stereo). Had been eyeing off an inferior pair for a similar price

  • Got one. Thanks

  • So the mixamp is just a virtual surround sound button and volume controls

  • does it work with OBS as a mic input on pc?

    Is this good on PS5?

OOS / Expired at Amazon now, sorry everyone.

    Check mwave, per RogueWolf's comment.

  • I just bought these recently for my PC and find them VERY confusing to set up. I'm pretty good with PC hardware but these just defy the basics of Windows Hardware devices.
I might go back to my Gamecom 777's as these do not seem to perform as one would expect.

  • I got the green ones.
    Don't buy the green ones!

  • What is the quality of these headphones?

  • Available again.

I've returned mine. Terrible, poor sound quality. After installing 3 apps, the headphones were still crap. Will never buy Razer audio products. If you want a nice pair of cans, get something useful instead of this rubbish.
