Received an email from discover.com.au 2 days back for a Dyson trial program, anyone get such email ?

      took OP this long to post here… so that could be the SLA in replies if we are lucky.

  • No, sign up needs personal details, I m not signing up, maybe forward the email to Dyson customer service.

  • Then Customer Service will probably just delete your email as a waste of time because there's nothing they can do about it.

    Just block the spam email, not that it'll do much as the spammers will use a different domain next time, and delete/forget it.

    Should be legit if so. Lots of comp posts about it in the past and some winners from OzBargain.

    I actually did get this email from Dyson ([email protected]).

    1st email on 28th April, subject "Take home a machine. Tell us what you think and keep the machine", I initially thought it is Good Guys Concierge as they send something similar, but no.. it was Dyson. Email goes on to say "Take home a machine. Tell us what you think and keep the machine. The toughest test for all new Dyson technology is how well it works in your home. That’s why we want to hear your experience of using our latest machines. We would like to offer you the chance to test our latest Environmental Care Technology. In exchange for your review, you can keep the machine!"

    I clicked and answered the questionnaire.

    A week later, I got a phone call . They confirmed my phone number and mailing address.

    2nd email received yesterday, "Dyson Trial Program - You have been selected". Email goes on to say "Congratulations. You have been selected to test our latest Environmental Care technology. The toughest test for all new Dyson technology is how well it works in your home. That’s why we want to hear your experience of using our latest machines. Please read through the next steps section below for more information. We will be in touch soon, but if you have any questions please call us on 1800 239 766."

    Only photo in the email as a hint is this. Looks like next iteration of Hot+Cool Pure or just Cool Pure? I hope it doesn't set my house on fire!

        Yea I realised that a little later after I posted. No mention of 'discover' on any emails I received.

            @ti6331: Hi OP - Received the Dyson HP07 today, can't believe they actually sent one. I was actually in the market to buy one and was looking some deals. Amazing timing!
