Recommendations for a French Door or a Side by Side Refrigerator

Need a recommendation for a decent refrigerator for my refrigerator space. I've got a pretty large space of 105 cm (W) x 184 cm (H) x 61 cm (D) and I want minimal free space on the top and sides. My budget is approx. $2,200.

The space was built around a Westinghouse WSE6900SA Side-by-side, which is a 1000 mm wide and approx.1800 mm high fridge. Although the reviews for it are really positive, I'm concerned about its oversize dimensions giving me a headache when I think about selling it in the future, because apparently, a 90 cm wide space is standard.

Any help is appreciated.

    Not a recommendation of particular french door fridge, apart from you need to measure the space for it, you also need to make sure that fridge can pass your door.

      Well the previous owners of the house had the Westinghouse that I mentioned in the post above. That's 1000 mm wide which they took with them when they left, so I'm pretty sure getting a fridge through the door won't be an issue.

        Just check your door size against the fridge measurement. Here is what I get from Google: In Australia, the most common internal standard door for both panel and flush has a height of 2040mm, a width of 820mm with a thickness of 35mm.10 Jan 2019.

          WSE6900SA is 784 deep with its doors on. So would be closer to 720 without doors, so this wouldn’t be an issue.

    It's a massive fridge to be honest, do you need something that size or will something around 610-670L suffice?
    Do you want water/ice (plumbed/non-plumbed)?

    I think it's a good fridge for the price but if you're only intending on having it for a few years and then selling, you'll lose money on most fridges, maybe more on one that's an odd size. If you move, chuck it in the garage as a second/drinks fridge

    We have this Mitsubishi 710L in silver. Picked it up for about $2400 last year. Love it. Typically retails around 2700 but I found this clearance example closer to your budget.

      Purchased Mitsubishi Electric 710L French Door Fridge MR-L710EN-GSL-A2 for $2580 yesterday. As advised above, this is the best french door fridge (comes with standard 5 years warranty and 4 star energy rating).
