What a freaken bargain and delivery too! I wish i was living in NSW. It such a pain having to drive to the servo and exchange or waiting forever to get someone to refill it.

Specfically "Valid for Newcastle region only" - it would be a hit if they could offer it in the Sydney metro area

the prices of these is ridiculous these days

i've seen $32 at the brand name servos

i frequent a few independents who charge $12 which is more than acceptable

Servos are only so expensive because of the convenience of it, like most items they sell…

  • all good i ordered mine …will see how it goes

  • on for brisbane as well it appears
edit: sorry, wrong. i selected the brisbane region but it redirected me to newcastle

  • Newcastle customers only!

  • In the conditions it states: "8.5kg and 9kg bottles are the same metric"… it seems there's a word missing there? Anyway, in what way are 8.5 & 9kg bottles different? We bought our two 9kg bottles, so I'd prefer to keep the 9kg bottles if they are different. Anyone know?

    • A 9kg bottle will only take 8.5kg of gas. Another retarded naming convention really…

      Oh and a 4kg only holds 3.7kg.

  • Oh ok… So there's not two different bottle sizes? i.e. My 9kg is the same physical size as their 8.5kg?

    • I think ryang is correct, I never really thought about it, but I had a read of the Elgas website just now and it said the same. A 9kg bottle holds 8.5kg of gas.

  • Thanks guys.
