Doesn't taste how it used to. They changed the ingredients so it doesn't have that gritty salty taste. Disappointed.

They removed all the delicious toxic chemicals 🙄

Kids these days need a bit of concrete and lead to toughen up.

  • thanks OP bought one.

    • You bought 36.

  • Thought about making it but they last about 1 month but it's pretty cheap to do 🤔

  • I don't know but dough these days just harden up after kids play it for once. From memory, this didn't use to happen when we used to play.

Time was different when we are children. I see it with mine. They don’t sense the amount of time they leave the dough out, and are not conscious of the parental influence in renewing that which was not tended to. I remember it drying when I was a kid, because I didn’t have a parent who was interested or fluid enough to have backups or replacements and I very much remember it not lasting very long unless I attempted to keep it going with sprinkled water… making sure to never get dry bits back in with the still good bits etc.

I’m not saying there is zero difference between yesteryear and today, but I am saying that my perception is that if you look after today’s playdough, it is actually a lot more pliable for a lot longer.

      • I have to agree, I've been buying tubs of Playdoh from Amazon for a while now - it'll go hard unless I seal it well in a zip-lock sandwich bag as soon as they've finished playing with it. Stored like that, it lasts ages!

    Won’t stop a 50 cal.

  • Purchased these a few times good to have spare supply in the cupboard. Would buy more if I still didn't have a spare 100 or so.

No longer avail at that price? Only option seems to be $44.85 from OS.

When I was a kid I used to use Play-Doh as ammunition… blow dart, balloon + botten end catapult, elastic catapult, air pistol, air rifle…
Both air pistol and rifle would break the skin and you'd have to pull the doh out.

Look how well adjusted I ended up though… ROFL.
