Agree they were pretty underwhelming. Was gonna get the nuggets deal yesterday but decided against it after reading comments from others and used Menulog $7 voucher instead haha

I was really impressed with the Aussie burger. Would have been great value with just it @ $5.50. Now I feel remorse in my stomach but happiness in my wallet.

$5.50 for just the Aussie is insane value itself. It's one of the biggest single patty burgers they make. The cheeseburger just makes it even better value.
Also, the Aussie tastes fantastic too.
If this isn't a 'deal' in your eyes, I don't think anything will please you.

I got this deal but was disappointed with the Aussie.
Not due to the size but the quality of burger.

Agree with you that it's a pretty disappointing burger. Initially was pretty happy with how big the aussie was when I received it. Little did I know I would've just preferred a second cheeseburger.
I think they need to get rid of the beetroot and figure out new texture . Definitely one of the worst burgers I've had this year .

I think the Aussie burger is the best burger they have, everytime I go there I have to struggle with my inner ozbargain to get something on one of the vouchers/shake & win or just pay full price for an Aussie burger… So this being the first time I've ever seen it discounted I think it's a great deal!
Funnily enough though, when I turned up and asked for the deal they were all very confused and told me I was the first person to claim this promotion today, even at 6:30pm. But also gave $1 small chips without having to say "$1".
@shkippy: Yeah, I've never had a bad Aussie and never said $1 small chips to get it for $1. It's right there on the menu. That would be against the law, right?
The Aust burger is the only HJ burger meal I pay full price for.
