  • bloody Ruslan Kogan learnt his lesson - not to jack up the prices when offering free shipping.

  • Can anyone comment on the quality of these?
I'm thinking about the cream high-back exec. chair, but I've heard conflicting stories about the quality.

    • +1

Yes. I'm sitting on http://www.milandirect.com.au/shop/deluxe-mesh-ergonomic-off… right now. I won't buy another. The seat is uncomfortable. I've never been able to adjust it how I want. I've always felt I was being dumped off the front of the seat. I've also had trouble with sinking on the chair. I weigh around 85KG. It is held in place with 4 screws in the bottom that fall out and get lost. I've used far better ($900) chairs at work and you can REALLY tell it is a higher quality of chair. Different league entirely.

I wish I could afford one of them…

BTW. I bought mine back in the 9th month of 2009.

      • They might have improved the quality since then. I bought one back in December and have been really pleased with it. I find it very comfortable to sit on and haven't had any issues with it. I also got this one http://www.milandirect.com.au/shop/office-chair-mesh-ergonom… which I found quite good value for money; the finishing at the top of the chair looks rather cheap but it is quite comfortable.

    • I wouldn't recommend buying anything from Milan Direct (or similar retailers) without seeing and trying in person first. Everything I've seen from them has been pretty poor quality, both structurally and in terms of finish, and you're possibly setting yourself up for disappointment buying sight unseen. Most reviews by OzBargain users have been negative, too.

    • Got a set of 4 of these deleivered last week
      http://www.milandirect.com.au/shop/4-pack-stackable-office-m…
      pretty happy with the qualtity
      about to buy more.

      • Have to wonder when the only two people (mkairys and Block) praising Milan Direct are first time posters, particularly when Milan Direct has been banned for sockpuppeting on OzBargain before.

        • got to be a 1st time sometime.

  • They're typical chinese designer knockoffs. Only concern is how they look when they're new, no thought into how they will wear or comfort/ergonomics.

  • Once considered buying their product but decided not.
Instead, bought a second-hand Herman Miller chair (Milla) on eBay Australia with a few hundred bucks instead.
H.M chair - you cannot fail with HM chair so I am happy about my decision.

I remember the forum in ozbargain or in a bargain post here questioning their product specification and qualification (as they said it meets some australian standard etc) but they didn't clarify or specify further and thus misleading ad etc etc.
    Anyone remember this?

  • Milan Direct eh? Is there a Milan in China?

  • Don't care if they are made in china , but are they better than ikea chairs?

  • If they're better than the typical officeworks junk then im sold.
